Living with Wolves — National Geographic Live Presentation

August 24, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$40.00

Join Living with Wolves’ Jim and Jamie Dutcher for a multi-media presentation and book signing at the

Warren Miller Performing Arts Center

Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 7 p.m.

For many people, wolves capture hearts and minds as inspiring symbols of all things wild. For others, their mere existence triggers irrational fear and hatred.

Jim and Jamie, Emmy award-winning filmmakers lived with a pack of wolves in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho, documenting the hidden life of wolves. Meet the Dutchers as they weave fascinating stories and stunning images into a portrait of their years living with the Sawtooth Pack. Intensely social and intelligent creatures, wolves share the DNA of our family dogs, and the qualities that led to protecting elephants, whales and gorillas. Capable of emotion and communication, they care for each other as individuals, each with its own personality.

Learn more about the world the wolf faces today, and get a rare glimpse at these majestic animals who play an important role in balancing ecosystems. A Q&A session will follow this National Geographic Live Presentation.

The Dutchers will also be signing copies of their most recent books, A Friend for Lakota, the Incredible True Story of a Wolf Who Braved Bullying and The Hidden Life of Wolves. Both books will be available for purchase at the event.

For tickets to the event, visit the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center website.
