We are pleased to announce the Grand Opening of the Living with Wolves Museum in Ketchum, Idaho! To celebrate this exciting milestone for our organization, we are hosting a reception at the museum on Thursday, September 28 from 4:30 – 6:30 P.M. For those of you able to drop by, we look forward to welcoming you in person to our new space.
Visitors can experience the world of the wolf through our National Geographic photography exhibit, award-winning film clips, and captivating wolf howls echoing in the main gallery. Set against the dramatic backdrop of Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains, the legacy of the Sawtooth Pack unfolds through compelling photos and observations from Wolf Camp. Explore the origin of the dog, astonishing wolf pack social interactions, and the myths and perceptions people have about wolves.
We launched the museum with a soft opening on July 25, and the impact of our new public presence has exceeded our expectations. Feedback has been incredibly positive, and we have had nearly 1,800 visitors in just six weeks of operation. Our ability to interact with people on a daily basis has greatly expanded our efforts to dispel misinformation, promote understanding, and encourage coexistence with wolves here in the heart of wolf country.
The culmination of this long-anticipated project would not have been possible without the help of supporters like you. We are forever grateful for your belief in our work and your desire to see wolves thrive in the wild.
